Taking place from  24 to 26 September 2021, the Women’s Trail Zell am See-Kaprun is anything but a normal weekend away with the girls. Instead it is an ambitious trailrunning event combining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for runners of all ages and abilities. Running sessions, workshops, yoga, spa treatments and relaxation all feature in one of Austria’s most beautiful regions. And, of course, not forgetting the chance to get together in the evenings and reflect on an action-packed day over a glass of wine. The Women’s Trail in Zell am See-Kaprun takes place in the heart of the Austrian Alps, surrounded by glaciers, mountains and lakes. Fun, action, adventure and plenty of laughter with like-minded people in a beautiful location – that’s what the Women’s Trail is all about. Come along and find out for yourself. If you have never tried trailrunning before, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go!

Courses

NIGHT ON TRAIL 6.7 kilometers, 301 vertical meters

A challenging run on beautiful forest trails located southwest of Zell. After the start, you will run along the lake before you will start to gain elevation on a steady uphill. You will reach the highest point of the course at Gasthof Ebenberg, where you will start to follow a steep trail down the woods. The last part of the route leads along the lake back to the starting point.

The Women’s Trail is a trail running event for girls only taking place in Zell am See-Kaprun. You will be running on magnificent trails in the Austrian Alps. Your race location for the weekend, the town of Zell am See, is located at the base of the mountain and at the shores of the lake in close proximity to the glacier. Therefore, scenic views of glaciers, snow-covered mountains, and turquoise lakes are guaranteed. Moreover, you will experience lovely single trails, charming climbs, and exciting downhills. A must-have for a fun vacation in the region is the “Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card.” Guests of partnering hotels receive this card for free. The Summer Card opens the doors to all top destinations of the region: Gondola rides with the “Porsche Design Gondola” to Schmittenhöhe and with the “Gletscherbahn Gondela“to Kitzsteinhorn or a boat trip on Zeller See are only a small selection of a multitude of possibilities. The weekend is rounded off by a spectacular program including workshops, wellness, yoga, and many more moments of happiness. We hope to have aroused your interest and look forward to your participation and a reunion in 2021.

All overnight guests in Zell am See-Kaprun will receive the mobility card by the end of October and can use public transport (train & bus) in Pinzgau free of charge. The mobility card is included from one night and is also valid on the day of arrival and departure. On the day of arrival, all you have to show the reservation confirmation from the hotel.
